I found a complimentary coffee, tea, and biscuits in a nice reading place. The gym had equipment I used. The staff were receptive and informative .

my room had a balcony it was a beautiful double room balcony. the staff provided complimentary wine, it was a lovely touch!
The shower was in the room with only partial covering. It did lack some privacy

amazing stay
helpful receptionist food recommendation daily housekeeping convenient location
the receptionist was super friendly and helpful i got great food recommendations from them the room looked exactly like the pictures and housekeeping came every day providing fresh towels the location has tons of shops and restaurants i also easily walked to the arc de triomf and surrounding neighborhoods i want to stay again
the walls felt pretty thin i could hear a lot of noise from other rooms so i used earplugs

the hotel sits in a great spot in the gothic city near many shops and bars the location gave me easy access to barceloneta and the arc de triomf i walked to both of these

Not quite as expected
dim lighting cramped room
The lighting in the room was quite dim. It made reading difficult. There was no closet. This meant our clothes remained in our suitcases. The bathroom lacked proper ventilation, and a small window would have helped. Our room felt cramped. Moving around with luggage was a challenge. The price for the stay seemed high considering these issues.

fresh bedding efficient air conditioning lovely breakfast
My room had fresh bedding and towels. The air conditioning worked very well in July. Breakfast was available each morning. I liked that very much.
The hallway beads hit me in the face when I walked by. It was a small problem.
