solid stay near the water

friendly staffuseful check-inbeneficial proximitypoor soundproofing
I had a decent visit during my short stay. the staff was really friendly at breakfast. They were helpful even when things got busy. i found the self-check-in and check-out to be quite useful, it saved me a lot of time. the hotel's proximity to bord gais was also beneficial.
the room had a connecting door to the next room, and the soundproofing was poor. i could hear every little sound from the neighbours. this lack of privacy was annoying considering the overall price.
Rooms

street noiseparking fee
The window in my room did not fully close. this resulted in significant street noise throughout the night. i also found the lack of air conditioning a problem because the room became quite stuffy. these issues detracted from an otherwise acceptable stay. the absence of on-site parking was also inconvenient. I had to use a nearby parking facility. the considerable parking fee, at 48 euro, from 6 pm to noon the following day, was an unexpected expense and should be noted.
