the staff were friendly AND helpful.

The pillows were REALLY bad. i read comments about this, and the hotel HASN'T fixed it. they seemed like old, flat feathers. Piling them didn't help. i asked for different pillows, BUT they said the harder ones were gone.

The breakfast was amazing!!! it had a good variety of options and i especially liked the prepared omelet. the location was also great for getting to the film festival. It was only about a 10-15 minute walk.

I initially received a room with two single beds instead of the superior double room i booked and paid for. i had to go back to reception to sort this out. also, the lighting in the room was not good. The main light fuse seemed broken.

I was greeted with such warmth at the front desk, and it really set a positive tone for my entire visit. the breakfast was excellent. I mean, the chefs made my eggs exactly how i wanted them! i liked that the hotel's location was very convenient, close to subway stations, and included a gym i could use. the staff was also quite nice, answering every question i had.

the only tiny issue i experienced was that the coffee sachets weren't replenished daily. while not a major problem, it was a small detail i noticed.

the breakfast spread was amazing!!! they have everything you could possibly want, including smoked salmon. the chefs were really accommodating, and i could order eggs just the way i like them, which i really appreciated.
