charming canal side gem
fine bedroom canal view excellent meal
i had a fine bedroom that overlooked the canal. the service was perfect and i loved it. the new in-house restaurant is a great addition for dinner.
i encountered mosquitoes one night and did not sleep until 4 am. my son has many mosquito bites. the receptionist said they have mosquito repellent devices for the rooms i wish i knew.

the staff showed us our room and the restaurant upon arrival. the lobby looked nice and everything looked well maintained. they also assisted us with our luggage and made sure we had what we needed.

The hotel is very central and near tourist spots. the hotel is a stone's throw from the belfort tower. there is a parking garage nearby. It costs 16 euros per day which i found convenient.

historical charm and handy parking!
central location friendly staff spacious room
The hotel is great location. the staff were friendly and helpful. They assisted with every request i made. my room was very spacious with perfectly styled furniture fitting the building. i found the parking in the backyard very handy and secure.
I did encounter mosquitoes . It was quite bothersome, especially at night. i think the hotel should consider mosquito repellent devices in all rooms or provide a general warning about mosquitoes near the canals. a sticker on the windows to remind guests not to open them would also be useful.

The breakfast buffet offered a selection of fresh pastries and local jams. The coffee machine made cappuccinos quickly. the dining area featured views of the garden. Several tables were arranged near the windows.

My executive room included a king-sized bed and a seating area with two armchairs. the bathroom featured a rainfall shower and complimentary toiletries. Plush bathrobes were provided. the room had blackout curtains. The television offered international channels.

convenient location fresh breakfast responsive staff
The location was convenient with easy access to nearby attractions. i found the provided breakfast to be fresh with many choices. the staff helped with directions and recommendations. They were very responsive.

room upgrade helpful staff convenient parking
the staff were helpful! they even upgraded our room to a suite. i also appreciated the snack bag i received upon leaving. i parked my car for a few hours after checkout, very helpful for lunch.
i noticed a slight timing issue with the room cleaning some days (it wasn't done).
