historical building attractive option
The historical building dates back to 1864 and is right on the seafront. There are several attractive eating and drinking options (I really enjoyed the terrace bar).
The personnel care facilities in the room were quite basic.

historic charm with attentive service
room upgrade helpful staff travel recommendation
the staff were very helpful. they even gave me a slight room upgrade. the front desk personnel were particularly attentive. i also found emmanuel, the concierge, to have great travel recommendations.
they were either dismantling or building temporary event structures in the gardens. it was constant after 2300, and started again at 0500.

the hotel features a museum. it also has sea-facing restaurants. i noticed the pool area had excellent views in the evening and provided a relaxed atmosphere. a spa is available, with signature massage services.
