the hotel is located close to many shops and bars. it is walkable to the monkey forest. the villa was very big it had everything we needed and was very clean. the honeymoon display on arrival was a nice touch.
i had to ask four times over two hours for a towel at the pool. the pool area needs some maintenance. i saw rotted wood and badly cracked walls.

dirty pool
The pool wasn't clean. I saw a lot of dirt at the bottom. also, the breakfast choices were limited. it made relaxing difficult. the staff didn't seem to address the noise issue effectively.

the location is definitely convenient. it is a short walk to many cafes and restaurants (that was especially helpful). also, the breakfast had several options. i found it quite adequate.
i had to ask multiple times for a towel when i was at the pool. the outside and pool area seems to need some maintenance. some wood was rotting and falling away from the structures with plants growing in it.
