Welcome to Hotel Gutenbergs – Riga

My stay at the hotel was truly enjoyable. The room was lovely, spacious, and upscale, providing a comfortable and charming atmosphere despite some initial cleaning needed on my part. The service was top-notch, with a young man at reception who was polite, customer-oriented, and had a fabulous 1800's beard. The location was excellent, right in the heart of the Old Town, providing easy access to all the main attractions. The dining experience was good overall, offering a nice variety of dishes, though the freshness of bread and pastries could have been better.

Staying at this hotel was a mixed experience. The room was a little on the small side, which was expected in the old town, but it was large and clean with thoughtful amenities like coffee and tea making facilities and a well-equipped mini bar. The service was a bit inconsistent, with young staff not always being attentive, but they were extremely friendly and helpful, offering assistance with various bookings and services. The location was a definite highlight, being in the middle of the old town, making it easy to walk to major attractions and access public transport easily. The dining options had a good choice of high-quality dishes despite some products of mediocre quality. The facilities were decent overall.

While the central location is convenient for exploring the sights, some noise disturbances from the floor above can be a downside.

The service was outstanding, especially Levs from the reception desk, who was incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay. The location couldn't be better for exploring the historical sites and enjoying the vibrant atmosphere. The dining experience was good with a variety of dishes to start the day right. Overall, a great stay with a few minor drawbacks.

I had a lovely stay at the hotel. The room was huge, clean, and well-equipped with a TV, kettle, and seating area. The junior suite room, although a little tired, was perfectly comfortable. The service was excellent, with the reception staff being very helpful and ensuring our comfort at all times. The location was ideal, a good mix of being in the heart of the area yet quiet enough for a good night's sleep. The dining experience offered some proper Latvian food items and a lovely dining area. Overall, a great value for money choice in a convenient location.
