great experience

dock view quick staff fresh food

the room faced the docks. i could see the wheel from my window. the staff addressed the room request i had made. they were also quick to help when breakfast service experienced delays. the staff cooked fresh food .

the windows were not very clean, obscuring the view.

Excellent Dockside Stay

buffet breakfast ideal location building view

the buffet style breakfast was quite good. the hotel location on the docks was ideal. my room overlooked the shops, restaurants and a building.

I could hear every creek and foot step from the room next door. It sounded like they were in my room.

understaffed and noisy, sadly

short staffing noise isolation

Check-in took about half an hour due to short staffing. no one was available at the bar when the reception area was busy. the noise isolation was terrible. I could hear every step from the room next door. i asked to move rooms, but the hotel was fully booked for the night. This meant no sleep for me and my daughter.

understaffed front desk stained carpet

The hotel's location was acceptable for my plans.

The front desk was understaffed. There was a significant wait for check-in. the room's cleanliness was questionable. I saw stains on the carpet and the bathroom fixtures needed better attention. The shower temperature fluctuated greatly, so a constant, comfortable water flow was not possible.

The location was excellent. The staff were helpful and efficient. Breakfast was plentiful and regularly topped up each morning. The rooms were clean and spacious.

I found the lack of available parking to be an issue. I also noticed a strange smell in the room upon arrival. The smell was later addressed with a spray, yet it was still noticeable.
