the staff was helpful. i loved playing cards on the beautiful landing with couches and coffee tables on the first floor. the concierge helped me find amazing restaurants and even arranged for doctors when i got sick after my douro cruise. i really appreciated the central location and the short walk to the local market for fresh oysters and sardines.

during checkout, there was to be a billing error. i hope they can clarify the charges more effectively.

The hotel location was great. IT was easy to explore many attractions. The staff helped with restaurant suggestions and bookings. I found the king bed comfortable.

My room faced the street and there was noise at night. A bar across the street caused noise all night. I requested distilled water for my machine. It arrived late at 10 p.m.
