Welcome to Madisson Boutique Hotel Cartagena – Cartagena

I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The rooms were located near the lobby area, overlooking the internal courtyard, and had very good WiFi, which was convenient for Skype calls. However, they were not as nice as shown in the pictures, being a bit outdated with limited hot water at times. The service was helpful when we needed assistance with refrigerating some medical items, but check-in took 15-20 minutes without any explanation. On the positive side, the staff was friendly, accommodating, and attentive. The location was great, just a small block away from the beach, making it very convenient to access local restaurants and attractions, and the cleanliness was satisfactory. In terms of dining, the meals were well-prepared although it could get a bit monotonous. Overall, it was a comfortable stay with some room for improvement.

The hotel is conveniently located in BocaGrande outside the walled city of Cartagena, just a small block away from the beach, making it easy to access local amenities. The rooms are spacious and well-appointed, facing the courtyard. The service was mixed, with some staff being extremely friendly and helpful, while others were inefficient and unprofessional. The dining options were varied but not exceptional. The location receives a high score for its proximity to the beach and local attractions.
