charming boutique stay
helpful staff quality amenities afternoon tea
i found the staff helpful throughout my visit. they provided local tips without being asked. breakfast was nice, and i liked the extra touches like afternoon tea. amenities were of high quality (i especially liked the complimentary coffee).
my room faced the courtyard, guests were allowed to have drinks until late. this made sleeping difficult. it was worse with kids of younger age. (earplugs might be useful).

attentive staff clean room welcome drinks
the staff were very attentive, also not intrusive. i had a mews double room, it felt really very comfy and tidy. i also appreciated the welcome drinks with snacks.
the breakfast could be better, also there was noise from bars nearby.

A Romantic Haven
gracious staff delicious dishes
I find the staff gracious. They plated up our outside food orders for us. The room was super clean and spacious. Breakfast was a daily changing selection of delicious dishes prepared with great care.
The nightclub nearby played loud music until 4 am. I found it hard to sleep on Saturday night. The deep bass vibrations were intense. Earplugs did not block the noise.

breakfast option pool courtyard late noise high price
The staff offered assistance with travel arrangements. They also provided a breakfast (i appreciated that) to take away. The pool courtyard created a tranquil atmosphere to relax.
Rooms facing the courtyard allowed guests to have drinks until late. This made sleeping difficult. The price was expensive considering the facility and the location (i think it's not in the most central area).

adequate stay with some drawbacks
packed breakfast heritage style lap pool small room no luggage rack mosquito bites
the staff provided a packed breakfast when i had an early departure the attention to detail impressed me. i also liked the heritage style and the lap pool it was great after a day visiting the town.
my room felt small and there was no luggage rack i had to put my luggage on the floor. the room could have used more lights and power points so i charged my phone in the washroom. also, i got a few mosquito bites maybe due to the city.

The staff offered helpful tips. The breakfast included local options. The hotel had a pool. These were positive aspects of my time here.
I noticed gaps on the floorboards. Air conditioning in my room was not efficient. The bathroom lacked air conditioning, a thing I found unappealing.
