Acceptable Stay, but Some Issues

awkward bathroom mediocre breakfast

The location was convenient, approximately five minutes from the train station.

The bathroom design was awkward. The toilet was separate without a sink (a 1970s-style box (i don't like it)). The bath was difficult to get in and out of for showering and mould surrounded the shower panel. Breakfast was mediocre at best, I was disappointed.

The room had a fridge. This was a big bonus. extra pillows were in the closet, a plus. the bed was comfortable. the toilet was separate from the bathroom. I liked this design.

i had to pay £18 to park the car for overnight. the pizzas i ordered from room service cost almost £40. the pizzas were poor quality.

Reception staff swapped our room to one with a bath. this was because my husband needed to rest his legs after the great north run. staff also gave our boy a bedtime book. He loves it.

The room was newly refurbished and spacious. it was also comfortable. the shower had hot water instantly. bath products in the bathroom were lovely. They added a touch of luxury.
