“I found the property to be exceptionally well-maintained and spotlessly clean, with its canal-side setting providing a rather pleasant atmosphere and convenient access to the station and city centre. The breakfast selection was extensive and of high quality, and the rooftop bar, offering lovely cocktails with views, certainly adds to its appeal. Staff consistently proved polite and helpful, making for a very comfortable and recommendable stay.”

I was grateful for the warm cookies i received upon arrival. It was a kind gesture. the hotel's location was convenient, a definite plus. the cleanliness of my room impressed me, a detail i always appreciate.
The car park seemed chaotic and a bit stressful upon arrival. the room price i was initially quoted was more expensive than what i had booked. This caused some confusion. i noticed the toilet flush in my room was quite hard to press. It was a small inconvenience.

The location offered great access to the train station. the room was well-equipped. the breakfast had good variety. I found tasty options.
The car parking fee seemed quite high. i waited for my final bill, but it never arrived. the restaurant seemed overpriced for dinner. The value was not great.

great location comfy beds heating system slow service
the hotel has a great location next to the canal. the beds were very comfy. i enjoyed my stay (the sky lounge was awesome).
the heating system did not work too well. it would get warm then cold, so nighttime was not great. getting fresh milk and sugar was very slow. this was quite disappointing for a hotel of its reputation.

Wonderful Moments in the City

fresh cookies canal view convenient bars delicious drinks
I enjoyed a warm welcome with fresh cookies upon arrival. The room given overlooked the canal and provided a charming view. We found some excellent bars right next to the hotel, so it was very convenient. The Sky Lounge was amazing with a cocktail tree. The drinks were delicious.
During this stay I noticed the toilet flush felt difficult to press. The hot tap in the sink barely produced warm water and it bothered me a bit. Cleaning staff cleaning rooms made slamming noise when they cleaned each morning.

The range of breakfast options were really good each morning. I could even order from a menu, so I didn't need to stick to the buffet. Views of canal boats are visible while you eat.
