we upgraded to the beachfront villa upon arrival, and i was very happy with this choice. the setting was beautiful, and the room was also fine. the villa included amenities and extra touches i would expect from a hotel of this quality. the service was really good from beginning to end.

access to the beach was somewhat limited, and the beachfront pool was on the smaller side. otherwise, i loved my stay.

the hotel provided free use of kayaks. the hotel arranged a day tour to the national marine park including pickup and drop-off. a cooking class was available with a friendly and informative chef.

the sea view room i had was spacious and included a very large bathroom. the hotel has additional rooms; this makes it feel less boutique, but the new loft rooms do feature magnificent panoramic sea views. the double bed was very large.

breakfast was excellent, with friendly and professional staff. all meals were delicious. the hotel restaurant provided good food that was not overpriced; wine pairings increased the price significantly though.
