central thoroughfare rooftop pool building wall shower precision

the location felt dreamy. it was so close to Gran Via, allowing gentle strolls to nearby shops and eateries. the rooftop pool offered a lovely escape from the daytime heat, i loved the gentle breeze as i floated with a cocktail.

Sadly, i found the room facing an unromantic building wall a bit disappointing. i hoped for at least a sliver of the lovely views i knew existed. also, the shower lacked the precision i wanted when selecting the water temperature. It felt a bit unpredictable.

I booked this stay hoping for a relaxing time, but a few things were off. the air conditioning barely worked. It was stuck on a warm setting and the staff just told me to open the window. the shower was also poorly designed, with a strange, sputtering water flow. finally, noise from the hallway kept me awake. it's unfortunate. I expected a bit more.

My 3rd visit proved really good, particularly the rooftop terrace with a pool. staff friendliness shone. i found the central location ideal. It allowed easy access to local spots.

soundproofing could improve as hallway noises travel into rooms.

My beautiful double room included two separate sinks and a rainfall shower. it had a mini-bar stocked with water and juices. These were replenished daily. the room featured blackout curtains, which really helped with sleep.

the double room was very clean. i found the bed comfortable. the staff was nice. the breakfast was quite complete, a welcome addition.

the bathroom does not offer much privacy. this is something to keep in mind.

direct elevators huge balcony extra seating

The reception area is directly next to the elevators (a little dark, I must say). I booked a Mini-Suite on the seventh floor (worth the extra cost). It featured a huge balcony with views and lots of seating.

The pool closes too early and there are few sunbeds for all the guests.
