the location felt dreamy. it was so close to Gran Via, allowing gentle strolls to nearby shops and eateries. the rooftop pool offered a lovely escape from the daytime heat, i loved the gentle breeze as i floated with a cocktail.

Sadly, i found the room facing an unromantic building wall a bit disappointing. i hoped for at least a sliver of the lovely views i knew existed. also, the shower lacked the precision i wanted when selecting the water temperature. It felt a bit unpredictable.

I booked this stay hoping for a relaxing time, but a few things were off. the air conditioning barely worked. It was stuck on a warm setting and the staff just told me to open the window. the shower was also poorly designed, with a strange, sputtering water flow. finally, noise from the hallway kept me awake. it's unfortunate. I expected a bit more.

the double room was very clean. i found the bed comfortable. the staff was nice. the breakfast was quite complete, a welcome addition.

the bathroom does not offer much privacy. this is something to keep in mind.

I booked a Mini-Suite on the seventh floor (worth the extra cost). It featured a huge balcony with views and lots of seating.

The pool closes too early and there are few sunbeds for all the guests.
