“Salcombe Harbour Hotel & Spa sits with a commanding presence overlooking the estuary, a location that truly sets the stage. The thoughtful touches, from the local gin delivered to your room to the genuinely helpful staff, elevate the experience beyond the expected, particularly for those with dietary needs where the gluten-free options at The Jetty restaurant are notably well-executed. My exploration revealed a comfortable, well-appointed space where the spa treatments also stand out as a genuine treat.”

poor ventilation air purifier
the food was amazing and served in good time!
our room felt too warm. i think it was because it was above the swimming pool. there was an air purifier in the room. but i'd hoped for better ventilation. it wasn't great.

okay stay
big bathroom shower cubicle stained carpet rude staff
the room was quite large. it also had a big bathroom with a rolltop bath as well as a shower cubicle.
upon arrival a male member of staff was very rude. the bedroom, though a good size, had stains on the carpet and blanket..

excellent location relaxed room tired place parking nightmare
the hotel location is excellent it is less than 5 mins walk through the town centre. the room was exactly what we'd hoped for it was stylish but relaxed.
the hotel is looking a little tired in places i think it is supposed to be 4. the parking must be a nightmare at busy times you won't want to move your car during your whole stay for fear of losing your space.

fantastic hotel stay!
great bar indoor pool delicious breakfast
I really enjoyed the room. It was huge. the restaurant and bar offered plenty of space both inside and out. a steam room, sauna, and indoor pool added to the experience. the bar was well-stocked, and breakfast was delicious (i especially enjoyed the pastries!).
The room we booked was a disabled room. I did not want to prevent a disabled person from accessing the room, but the hotel was full when we arrived and we had to change rooms. we were upgraded for the first night (it was fine), but the fact that we had to change rooms was annoying.
Location

the hotel is in a lovely spot and has beautiful views. it's only a short walk to town, so getting around is easy. i found the setting to be perfect for a relaxing break.
Facilities
9/10
