The hotel had a vintage charm I loved. Staff was friendly, ready to hold drinks. The cleaning staff also had a nice attitude and provided nice soaps and towels.

the location proved convenient for accessing nearby attractions.
The room was quite small, made moving around difficult. furthermore, i found the noise insulation inadequate. Sounds from both the hallway and adjacent rooms were easily audible. this impacted my ability to rest properly and reduced comfort considerably

i liked that the hotel had coffee and water refills during the day. the public mouthwash was also a nice touch. the location was great because its close to pier 39 and lombard street. i found the morning reception guy to be very polite and helpful.
the walls are thin so i could hear other guests.

the hotel has a coffee machine with a good brand of coffee. the machine also dispenses tea, a nice option for a relaxing evening. the bar and restaurant downstairs provide convenient dining choices.

the rooms had sinks and windows. this offered natural light. shared bathrooms were just down the hall from my room. i also noticed the hotel offers rooms with private bathrooms.
