The hotel has a launch site in the grounds for hot air ballooning where the take off carries you over lovely grounds and Wilton Castle. The Wye Valley offers excellent fishing on the River Wye, with the middle reaches providing opportunities for chub, barbel, carp, and pike.

The Bridge House is just off the A40 on a main road into Ross, a 10-minute stroll from Ross-on-Wye centre. Guests can easily access the surrounding Wye Valley with its numerous walking trails and cycling routes.
