"Prime location, beautiful interiors, comfortable beds, modern spa facilities, friendly staff, spotlessly clean rooms and communal areas, very central and still quiet, all very welcoming and relaxing."
"Sauna: Works great, you just need to turn it on (ask staff to turn it on for you), it needs 30 min to heat up (staff will tell you it takes 3 min to heat up, which is incorrect, and easily can be veriefied with the display), also the steam sauna works like a charm."

i was charmed by the location, near the catedral of aleksander nevsky, it was a short walk. free access to the sauna, steam bath ,large jacuzzi, and salt wall WAS a true delight. massage options were also available.
i noticed there was no breakfast in the hotel. i had to find alternative options outside the hotel for my morning meal.

small jacuzzioutdated fixtures
The jacuzzi was a bit of a letdown. It was smaller than i anticipated and seemed a little worn. the lighting in the room was quite harsh, not exactly cozy. also, some of the fixtures like the lamp switches felt outdated and a bit flimsy. I found myself wondering when they last saw an upgrade. the linen was nothing special. i think a little refurbishment would do wonders.

i found the location very central. it made exploring the city easy. i was within walking distance of the metro and various sites. the hotel staff were helpful with bus routes and transport links.
the room felt outdated. the cleanliness was not great. i noticed a smell of humidity upon entry. the ac spread an unpleasant odor.

I was really happy with this hotel. the jacuzzi was a great way to relax after a busy day exploring. i was given bathrobes too, a lovely extra i didn't expect. the beds were comfortable. I slept so well. the reception staff were very helpful. she was so warm and made sure i could use the spa.
The shower drain was a little slow. I turned off the water sometimes to avoid it flooding.
