A Romantic Getaway Remembered

The location was superb. I could easily walk to the Tiergarten. The proximity to the central station simplified my travel plans. Bicycles available at the hotel made exploring effortless. I found the hotel staff to be lovely and always ready to help, even storing my luggage for me.
I noticed some black spots on the pillows and duvets, made me question the overall cleanliness of the bedding, and I found this unsettling.

the location near the train station was convenient. reaching the city center was easy with a short walk or by train (or uber). the staff was friendly. the room was clean and ready at check-in, and the bus stop outside made returning with heavy bags easy.

I arrived very late because the flight changed. I found the facility clean, comfortable, and safe, a HUGE relief! The staff proved helpful during check-in. They turned a stressful situation into a manageable one!
I noticed the absence of coffee or tea making facilities in my room. I missed having that option available first thing in the morning. It would be great if that was included!

The location was very CONVENIENT near the Bellevue metro station. Trains went to Alexanderplatz and Hauptbanhof easily. The design was very nice and the staff were kind. I liked the dozens of gin brands at the bar.
The hotel tried to charge MORE than agreed and confirmed. I showed my confirmation letter stating tax was included. They said it was not and would have to check it. There was only one paper cup in the room for two people.

Beds were comfortable. The room was cleaned every day by staff. S Bahn and bus stations are approximately five minutes walking distance. There is a gas station right next to the building. Penny supermarket is eight minutes away.
