Reviews and Ratings
Staying at Cheong Fatt Tze -The Blue Mansion was a memorable experience. The hotel's location next to the Red Garden food court made dining options convenient, and the staff recommendations for local eateries were spot-on. The historical charm of the hundred-year-old house added a unique touch to our stay, and the direct access from our room to the pool was a refreshing treat after exploring the town.
Staying at this hotel was quite a unique experience. The proximity to the Red Garden food court and other restaurants within a short walk was convenient. The historical ambiance of the old hundred years house adds charm, and the staff recommended local dining options like Hong Kee, where we enjoyed the traditional cuisine. However, the dark room with blocked windows made it slightly disorienting, lacking natural light connection. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, though the fan was noisy and there was a slight paint smell.
Staying at the Cheong Fatt Tze - The Blue Mansion in Penang was a memorable experience. The hotel's location next to the Red Garden food court is excellent for dining options, and exploring nearby restaurants is convenient. The historic ambiance of the hundred-year-old house and the unique old iron key for the room added to the charm. The rooms were spotlessly clean and well-appointed, with easy access to the pool, making the stay comfortable. The breakfast service was top-notch with attentive and friendly staff.
My stay at the hotel was an absolute delight. The rooms were not only clean and spacious but also beautifully decorated with lovely touches like swimming pool baskets, slippers, gowns, sarongs, and even two rubber ducks for the bath that my children adored. The service was beyond delightful, with warm, gentle, and attentive staff making our experience truly special. The location was stunning, close to attractions like the Red Garden hawker market and within walking distance of most of the world heritage area. The dining experience was good but slightly disappointing when considering the overall positive experience. Overall, a fantastic stay with some minor downsides.
I absolutely loved my stay at the townhouse. The rooms were not only very comfortable and spacious but also beautifully appointed with unique Chinese furniture that I wished could take home with me. The service was impeccable, with thoughtful gestures like leaving rose petals on the bed for our anniversary. The location couldn't have been better, with easy access to popular streets like Chulia Street and Love Lane. The dining experience was delightful, especially the Malaysian banquet. Overall, a wonderful experience with just a few minor drawbacks.
