loud air conditioningpoor soundproofing
the noise levels are not what one expects. air conditioning made a racket, even on its lowest setting. furthermore, noise from nearby rooms and the street came through the walls at any hour of the night. i found this disruptive and it impacted the quality of sleep one expects.

negative attitudestressful atmosphere
the daytime reception staff was rather unhelpful. i found their attitude a bit negative, which wasn't cute. also, the location, while central, felt uncomfortable. i noticed mostly older, single men, and there was quite a bit of coming and going with women. this created a stressful atmosphere.

staff was friendly. the room had essential amenities. light flooded my room. i felt comfortable. breakfast was easy to get to. the gym had sufficient equipment. it was a simple walk to public transit. i could find shopping malls easily.

The location is fantastic, putting you right in the middle of everything. I appreciated the seating area at the front. It was perfect for watching the city. The rooms were modern and very well equipped. The rooftop pool, though on the sixth floor, offered good privacy and was fairly quiet.
