Hestia Hotel Barons Old Town enjoys a superb location right in the heart of Tallinn's Old Town, steps away from the central square, restaurants, and museums. Many guests appreciate the generously sized and comfortable rooms, some offering beautiful views of Tallinn's rooftops. The breakfast is often praised, served in a room overlooking a medieval street, even if some found limited options at peak times, while the hotel's Art Nouveau style evokes the charm of the 1920s.

excellent historical location

good breakfastperfect locationkind gesturenoisy bar
I found the breakfast quite good with suitable timings. It opened until 11 am. the location was really perfect (close to many shops and restaurants). i received a warm welcome and kind gesture upon arrival.
the bar beneath the hotel was noisy until 3am on weekends. i could hear the sounds from the street from my room on the third floor. the rooms are quite dated.

historical charm

central locationhistoric atmospherepreserved furniturenoise problem
The hotel location impressed. it stands smack in the middle of everything tourists dream of. i dropped off luggage easily before finding solaris parking center. the historic atmosphere enhanced my visit. Preserved furniture and glass work delighted me.
i found i could hear every step and conversation. the floor squeaked. this kept me up. noise cancelling measures could improve the stay.
Facilities
9/10
the hotel is very conveniently located, facilitating easy access to local attractions. i observed reliable luggage storage services.
Dining
8/10
the breakfast features good variety. i saw helpful staff. the dining room's glassware looked particularly well kept and clean for service.
Rooms
9/10
My junior suite had big beds. i found them very comfortable. the rooms were bare with nothing on the walls. That was the only shortcoming i noticed.
Service
10/10
one staff member at reception was lovely. the hotel staff readily helped locate a misplaced phone. i found this service most helpful.

Decent location. Disappointing room

sewer smelllackluster response
The location was pretty good, close to many things. But the room itself wasn't so great. the bathroom had a noticeable sewer smell, quite unpleasant. i mentioned it to the reception, though they didn't seem too surprised, and nothing was done to fix it. the underfloor heating made the smell even worse. I was disappointed.
