the room was clean.
the location sits directly above a party street. the noise from the bars below was quite loud all night. earplugs were provided, i guess there were music and screams until morning. they offered earplugs but they did little to block the noise.

The room was spacious and clean, with a great view of the river. a pastel and porto was each afternoon. I found it a nice touch. the location was good and metro, tram, and bus stations are just across the street.
i noticed there weren't any air conditioning switched on, , made things a little stuffy.

The location proved convenient for exploring some parts of the city.
I experienced excessive noise ALL night from nearby bars. it continued until early morning, and even with the earplugs provided, i could still hear the music. SLEEP was IMPOSSIBLE.

i found the staff helpful during check-in, particularly with the midnight airport transfer. the automatic blinds were a lovely touch, and i very much appreciated the complimentary water. the location gave a convenient access and the water view offered a special charm to my mornings.
the bathroom had a step up. it felt a bit like a ship, a minor inconvenience in an otherwise magical experience.

location issues outweighed the good
constant noisecramped room
The hotel looked decent, but i had some real problems. the noise from nearby bars was relentless, even with earplugs. it went on until almost 6 am (every single night!), and i could feel the bass (really frustrating). the room was also tiny. It felt cramped. the small bathroom had an odd step, a potential tripping hazard.
