The staff was friendly upon arrival. A welcome drink was a nice touch.
I found the room quite dark. It had only a small window. Air conditioning was also absent, a disappointment given the cost.

Charming Stay by the Canal!

breakfast buffet bike hire clever space
The breakfast buffet had a good range of food. I could hire bikes right at the hotel. The clever use of space in my room allowed an en-suite to be included, charmed I was!
My room lacked proper noise insulation. I could hear everything happening in the rooms upstairs and next to me. Old buildings have charm, though.
Facilities
9/10
The hotel offers bike rentals directly, a good option to explore the surroundings. A 24-hour front desk is available for guest assistance. There are games available in the reception area. Lemon water is complimentary too.
Dining
8/10
The breakfast buffet includes a variety of food options. I noticed there's no lunch or dinner service. Guests can find multiple restaurants and cafés within a short walk. The reception provides complimentary lemon water.
Rooms
9/10
My room included a private en-suite. A fan was provided for temperature control in the room. I could see that rooms have canal views. A skylight could be opened, controlled from the wall.
Service
10/10
The staff were accommodating, friendly, and always happy to help! When I asked for milk for my room, I received it immediately. Check-in and check-out were efficient. The whole building was super clean! though the parking was expensive.
