Reviews and Ratings
Staying at this hotel was a real treat! The room was spacious with a separate seating area, all decked out in grand navy and gold decor with beautiful antique furniture. Facing the water with a king bed for just over $100 per night made it a fantastic deal. The only downside was the somewhat repetitive dining options, but they were still tasty. The service was exceptionally friendly and professional, and the location was unbeatable, steps away from the ferry terminal and with a stunning view of the harbor.
The hotel is in a convenient location, beautifully appointed with low ceilings in the rooms. The special offer running during my stay made it a great value at $95.00 Canadian per night, but the noise from the street could be bothersome due to the single-pane windows.
The hotel's location is fantastic, right across from the Black Ball Ferry and within walking distance to Fishermans wharf and James Bay. The rooms offer a charming view of the harbor but are on the third floor without an elevator, which could be challenging for guests with health conditions. The breakfast is charming but lacks variety, especially during the holiday season.
The hotel is situated in a great location with a view of the harbor, offering easy access to downtown attractions. The rooms are comfortable and clean, and the staff is friendly and attentive. However, the dining experience could use some improvement in terms of variety. Overall, a good value for the money.
Staying at this hotel was like stepping back in time with its preserved historical charm, complete with antique furniture and one of the best king size beds I've ever slept in. However, the property needs some maintenance and attention to details, as there were visible signs of wear and tear throughout.
I absolutely loved my stay at this hotel. The rooms were charming with a view of the beautiful harbor and airplanes landing on the water, and the evening lights were mesmerizing. The antique furniture and the king-size bed with a pillow menu were a dream, but the early morning noise from the kitchen extractors was a drawback.
The hotel's room wasn't aligned with the picture I booked, but the 'turret' room was great overall despite some noise issues. The service was extremely attentive and accommodating, although high tea was unavailable due to staffing. The location was ideal right on the inner harbor, making it convenient to explore nearby attractions. The dining was not particularly remarkable, but the experience was elevated by free car parking. The facilities offered dry cleaning, housekeeping, laundry services, and welcome drinks.
Staying at the hotel was an absolute delight. The rooms were beautiful and very comfortable, offering stunning views of the Empress hotel and Victoria Inner Harbour. The service was exceptional, with very friendly staff who even transferred us to another location at no charge. The location couldn't have been better, overlooking the inner harbor and just steps away from major attractions. The dining experience was a pleasant surprise, although it became a bit repetitive after a few days. Overall, a wonderful stay with a few minor drawbacks.
The hotel offers stunning rooms with a gorgeous harbor view and comfortable beds. The service is exceptional, catering to special requests like a vegetarian breakfast. The location is prime, right on the inner harbor, perfect for exploring downtown Victoria. The dining is exquisite, served with elegance and a view of the harbor. Overall, a delightful stay with a few minor drawbacks.
My stay at the hotel was a delightful experience overall. The rooms, although lacking a view, were spacious and cozy with a charming claw foot tub and comfortable beds. The stocked antique bookcase added a unique touch that you don't find in regular hotels. The service was top-notch, with the staff being incredibly helpful and welcoming. The location couldn't have been better, right in the heart of everything, just steps away from the ferry terminal. The dining experience, while fun and excellent, was slightly hindered by being delivered to the room, but the beautiful harbor view made up for it. The facilities were excellent, offering everything needed for a comfortable stay.
The hotel offers a blend of historical charm and modern comfort. The rooms had everything we needed and were cozy, although a bit warm without air conditioning. The service was impeccable, with friendly and helpful staff. The location is unbeatable for exploring downtown Victoria, being close to key attractions. The dining experience was delightful, albeit lacking variety over multiple days. Overall, a charming stay with some room for improvement.
This hotel has its ups and downs. The rooms are spacious and clean, offering a private balcony with a view of the inner harbor, which is lovely. However, the rooms could use a bit of work. The service stands out, especially Shay and Tracy from the Huntingdon Manor, who go out of their way to make your stay memorable. The location is superb, with everything within walking distance and right on the harbor. The dining options are basic but reasonable, although the breakfast spread could use a bit more variety.
