Solid choice for a Reykjavik visit

separate bathhigh standardhelpful staff
I find the bathroom well-appointed, it has both a walk-in shower and separate bath. The room was immaculate and cleaners maintained a high standard daily. Staff were polite and helpful at breakfast. This contrasts with front desk staff that maintained a professional but perfunctory approach.
My room needed a few more USB ports and available outlets beside the bedside tables.
Facilities
9/10
The hotel offers convenient, free parking with sufficient spaces for guests. A restaurant on the premises provides dining options, I saw a good selection of dishes. The building had a large hall for guest to use, it appeared modern.
Service
9/10
Staff demonstrated customer orientation skills and were very friendly. The check-in process was quick, I saw the staff managing several customers. The servers at the restaurant were nice, I received quick service with a smile.
Location
8/10
I noticed the location provides easy access to downtown, a 15-minute walk. The hotel is a reasonably short drive to the International Airport and popular attractions. Tour operators pick up guests directly outside the hotel, I found it convenient.

Victoria provided really good service, going above and beyond to help. I appreciated her kindness and attentiveness . The hotel's location offered a short drive to downtown, very convenient for exploring. I found the breakfast selection superb and well-timed.
The electric plugs were somewhat inconvenient, needing more near the bed for phone charging.
Service
10/10
The front desk staff were superb and always courteous. Restaurant personnel displayed a friendly attitude and helpful approach. Their attention made a real difference to my experience.
Location
8/10
The hotel had a good location for walking; a supermarket was nearby. It also served as a pick up location for many tours. The location allowed walks to Perla.
Rooms

The standard room with atrium view was well stocked with tea and coffee. The bathroom provided plenty of toiletries, including so many towels! The bed was indeed comfy and warm. The space was clean. There was also plenty of storage for clothes and suitcases, very useful.
The location is a little further from the city center. A scooter or car might be useful.

The hotel sits on the edge of town. A scooter ride into town takes only ten minutes. It is a 45-minute walk.
