noisy air conditioner bathroom door
The king size bed was spacious. It was a win.
The air conditioning was quite noisy and sounded like it needed service. That was annoying. the bathroom door also had an irritating creak, and i am not sure why. also, staff seemed unsure about vegetarian options at breakfast. I got incorrect information.

convenient location near the river
quiet room helpful staff
the room was quiet and clean the staff seemed friendly and helpful. metro stations and the royal palace are about a 15-20 minute walk. taxis were available in front and a bus to the center departs from the hotel front it takes 12 minutes. the riverside location offered nice views.

a VERY great stay
quiet location good breakfast comfortable walk
i found the location very quiet and confortable. it was about a twenty minutes walk to the palace. breakfast was good and i ate dinner one night, it was GOOD.
the tv is not A smart tv. it only has cnn as the english speaking channel, no bbc news or sky news. it is very heavily aimed at the corporate business market and is quite tired in appearance.

the hotel provided easy access to the Manzanares river. the river offered picturesque views with a peaceful atmosphere. it was great being near park lanes, i did enjoy walking next to the river.

daily cleaning convenient bus relaxing area
the rooms was clean daily and the beds was made each day. a bus stop was right outside of the hotel, it was convenient. the surrounding area was quiet and relaxing, i liked the walks.
the walls seemed thin, i could hear noises from other rooms.

clean hotel helpful staff pet-friendly environment
the hotel was very clean upon arrival. the staff were pleasant and helpful throughout my stay. i appreciated the easy access to secure underground parking (a great convenience). i also liked that the hotel is very pet friendly.
i found that ironing boards and an iron were not available in the room.

standard room and service ISSUES
missing amenities limited channels
the location near the river was acceptable. it allowed for quiet evening walks.
The room i booked did not have basic amenities. i EXPECTED a kettle, coffee, and tea but found none. the television offered limited english-language channels. CNN was the only option, proving insufficient.

adequate stay, some issues noticed
thin walls noisy plumbing
The staff at the front desk were pleasant. (i did appreciate their professionalism).
The walls seemed thin. I could hear everything in the next rooms and the corridor. The plumbing was also very noisy. A neighbor's "party" continued all night. I called reception five times. They were useless in stopping it, i eventually changed rooms.
