stuffy room broken air conditioning
the rooms were fine but not great. i found the air conditioning didnt work properly and the room became stuffy. opening a window meant dealing with noise and smoke from staff outside. i asked to switch rooms but the alternative was basically the same. i expect better for what i paid.

a perfect stay in a charming place
excellent proximity really good warmth good variety
I found the proximity to various attractions convenient. I could easily reach st mark's square and the vaporetto stops with a short walk. the staff displayed really good warmth. breakfast had a good variety, it catered to all tastes. it included a fun waffle maker.
i noticed a slight issue as i would have appreciated a stronger hair dryer in the room.

the room was very clean and fully equipped. a nice little balcony even became a small personal retreat i looked forward to after exploring each day. there was a nice touch in the form of 'rituals' toiletries.

The breakfast buffet offers a amazing array of choices, suiting various dietary needs. communal areas stand out. They are excellent and meticulously tidy. the upstairs lounge offered beautiful views, it made me use the stairs more often.

The staff was friendly! especially the bellman, who helped with luggage. The onsite restaurant was excellent. I loved the convenient water taxi arrangement to the airport.
The room overlooked a walkway. This walkway stayed noisy late into the evening.
