stuffy roombroken air conditioning
the rooms were fine but not great. i found the air conditioning didnt work properly and the room became stuffy. opening a window meant dealing with noise and smoke from staff outside. i asked to switch rooms but the alternative was basically the same. i expect better for what i paid.

I found the proximity to various attractions convenient. I could easily reach st mark's square and the vaporetto stops with a short walk. the staff displayed really good warmth. breakfast had a good variety, it catered to all tastes. it included a fun waffle maker.
i noticed a slight issue as i would have appreciated a stronger hair dryer in the room.

the room was very clean and fully equipped. a nice little balcony even became a small personal retreat i looked forward to after exploring each day. there was a nice touch in the form of 'rituals' toiletries.

The staff was friendly! especially the bellman, who helped with luggage. The onsite restaurant was excellent. I loved the convenient water taxi arrangement to the airport.
The room overlooked a walkway. This walkway stayed noisy late into the evening.
