Welcome to Itaca Sevilla By Soho Boutique – Seville

I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The rooms were quite basic and rather dark, located right next to a courtyard and indoor breakfast area. They were clean and nice, but lacking a bit of brightness. The service was friendly and very helpful, with knowledgeable staff who suggested good eateries around. The location was great, near the foot of the 2 main shopping streets and within walking distance of key sites in Sevilla. However, the room lacked privacy due to the window opening to the courtyard. The dining options were varied, but some food seemed recycled, catering more to European tastes than fresh fruits. Overall, a decent stay with some room for improvement.

Upon arriving at the hotel, I was a bit skeptical as the room I received didn't quite match the pictures, but after requesting a change to one with a roof terrace, my stay improved. The room itself was cozy but on the smaller side, lacking a proper outdoor view. The staff, particularly at the reception, were incredibly kind and helpful, even assisting us in a passport mishap in Malaga. The location was very central, making it convenient to explore Seville's attractions, although the room's limited privacy due to a window facing the courtyard was a downside. Dining options were satisfactory, and the overall experience was good for the price paid.

The hotel is centrally located, near the main attractions, and offers spacious rooms with a Jacuzzi system in the bathtub. The staff is incredibly helpful and the recommended Flamenco show was a highlight. On the downside, the advertised soundproofing needs improvement, and brighter lights in the rooms would be beneficial.
