Acceptable Stay but Some Issues
noisy air conditioningstained towels
The room I had was not ideal. The air conditioning unit was quite noisy and disrupted my sleep each night. I also noticed some stains on the bathroom towels. I found this quite off-putting and it affected my overall experience. The maintenance could be better, especially considering the hotel's reputation.

the rooftop restaurant served REALLY good food. breakfast consisted mainly of indian food. it was more than acceptable though. the hotel possesses amazing character.
the staff at reception seemed unhelpful. they were almost unapproachable. when my friend wanted a souvenir from the gift shop, they said it was impossible because there was no one there.
