Hotel Wawel enjoys a superb location, mere minutes from the main square, yet offers a quiet retreat. Guests often appreciate the spacious rooms, some featuring comfortable amenities like writing desks. The breakfast buffet is generally well-received, and the hotel even offers convenient packed lunches for early departures to places like Auschwitz; however, some guests have occasionally mentioned the coffee from the self-service machine not being strong enough to their liking. Many also enjoyed spending time in the covered inner courtyard, with its direct access to the Black Duck Restaurant.

The room lighting was quite dim. the breakfast area felt a bit cramped during peak hours. Maneuvering around with a plate was a challenge, I must say. Finding a parking spot nearby proved to be more difficult than initially anticipated. The hotel has limited spaces.

friendly staffsmall showerstale bread
the hotel staff was friendly i suppose, and the location was pretty central.
I did find the room too small, especifically the shower. it was a double room and i would expected a little more space. the breakfast was a real letdown. Very limited options and the bread was stale. the bed mattress was to firm for my liking, too, so i didn't sleep well during the nights i stayed.
