i found the staff quite lovely and the environment relaxing. access to burghley park is easy, a real plus with dogs. the hotel is very dog friendly too, which i appreciated. i was impressed with the imaginative and delicious breakfast options offered each morning.
one very slight issue was that the room lacked readily available plug sockets. it meant i had to move furniture to charge devices or use the hairdryer.

The hotel provides convenient access to burghley park, a benefit to dog owners. Great walks start just behind the hotel, a real treat. plenty of car parking spaces are available , though the parking area can get crowded at peak times. a ten minute walk leads to the town center.

The reception staff were really good, very cute upon my arrival. the staff was also very attentive throughout my stay. They maintained a helpful and efficient approach. i observed that the breakfast service was particularly well managed.

the staff were helpful they made me feel very welcome i enjoyed the fresh milk available in the mini fridge it was a nice touch the hotel lounge was perfect it allowed for total relaxation after my travels

the location of the hotel is great because it is by parkland it is also a quick five minute walk into town i enjoyed the easy access to local attractions from the hotel location
