i found the staff quite lovely and the environment relaxing. access to burghley park is easy, a real plus with dogs. the hotel is very dog friendly too, which i appreciated. i was impressed with the imaginative and delicious breakfast options offered each morning.
one very slight issue was that the room lacked readily available plug sockets. it meant i had to move furniture to charge devices or use the hairdryer.

I found the staff very helpful. The food was AMAZING!!! The hotel offered on-site parking. I appreciated the nice building.
I observed road noise due to old secondary glazing. The room lacked a wardrobe. The bathroom extractor did not work properly.
