Acceptable Experience at This Hotel

The hotel features nice glass roof at the main square. There is a walkway on the first two floors, it give great access. The staff at the front desk, restaurant are helpful. They go out of their way. I love this.
My room was old. All the furniture including bathroom looked a bit worn. Saturday night, I heard music in the hall until 23:00 and it was loud. The sounds also started early in the morning too. It does affects my stay.

Fantastic Stay in a Unique Setting

Breakfast included a very nice coffee maker , made espresso and cappuccinos. I really enjoyed it! The hotel converted from a convent is interesting. I loved the cloisters. It reminded me of I was in a museum. I found the staff professional and friendly. They provided the highest quality food and drinks.
I noticed the carpeted lobbies looked a little worn.

The central atrium in this hotel is fine. It really added to the atmosphere. The building also has very thick walls. It helped keep my room quiet, even though I was near the street.

the location allowed for easy access to nearby attractions.
the room felt somewhat outdated.. the bathroom fixtures showed signs of wear. housekeeping missed a few spots during cleaning, some surfaces remained dusty. the absence of sufficient power outlets near the bed was inconvenient.

the location was good. it was within walking distance of places i wanted to visit.
i was disappointed. there were many stains on the carpet and i just couldn't get the air conditioning to work properly. it really affected my comfort.

the design of the bathroom is not great for tall people. the bed creaked at any movement. i waited 10 minutes to be seated for breakfast.
