noise insulationpipework problem
the noise insulation left much to be desired. i could hear everything from the staff room next to my room, especially early saturday morning. the loud telephone calls and banging noises were quite disruptive. plus, the pipework in the room was a real problem and at night the toilet waste being flushed was loud enough to disturb my sleep. i was pretty surprised by this considering this is a relatively new building.

some issues
espresso machinepoor insulationmissing deposit
the room had a functional capsule espresso machine.
the noise insulation was not good at all. i clearly heard waste being flushed and flowing overhead and it disturbed my sleep. additionally, a 50 eur deposit was charged but it has not yet been returned to my bank account after nearly 20 days.

The breakfast was a good Continental breakfast.
The price and quality balance is very off since we had booked the "superior" room though it turned out to be quite small what is unfortunate in retrospect. The room had many stains from previous guests and the glasses in the room were not clean with stains.

The complimentary ferry was convenient for transport to the city center.
The soundproofing was poor. I could clearly hear noises from neighboring rooms. A staff room nearby was noisy early in the morning, disrupting my sleep. The outdated tv in the room also did not work correctly.

I liked the room. The bed was comfortable and large. I appreciated how close the hotel was to the ferry. It made getting to the central station easy. The staff proved very helpful when i needed directions to local attractions
the hotel charged a deposit. It has not been returned to my account. This happened almost 20 days ago.
