the location was fine , i suppose , though it's hardly a unique selling point for a hotel.
the air conditioning emitted a stale odor when activated , so i had to switch it off. even with it off , the system emitted a constant noise , rather bothersome considering i'd requested a quiet room. hotel staff seemed stumped on how to resolve this nuisance , though eventually , the noise from the fan ceased on its own.

The location is very convenient to kings cross station. It is only 10 minutes in an uber. it is also easy to walk to regent street, soho, and covent garden. the british museum is also nearby.

I was celebrating my birthday and the team gifted me chocolates upon arrival. my room included a cake and a message. A surprise, really. the view was of a wall, i admit. i spent very little time in my room, though.
