I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The rooms were comfortable and spacious, but the electricity cut out unexpectedly. The service was mostly exceptional, with friendly staff, although there were instances of unwillingness to accommodate requests. The location was convenient with a downside of not being informed about some amenities and closures. The dining was good but lacked variety and was a bit pricey. Overall, a decent stay with some notable drawbacks.
I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The rooms were very comfortable, and the two-bedroom suite I stayed in was beautiful, even though some parts of the hotel looked a little tired. The room was spacious, well-appointed with plenty of electric plugs, and had very comfortable furnishings. The service was a mix of being friendly and helpful arranging tours but also had instances of overlooking cleaning tables. The location was convenient for exploring Cape Town, especially the vibrant Bo-Kaap area, although it felt a bit outdated. The dining options were good, with some highlights and opportunities for improvement. Overall, a pleasant stay with some room for enhancement.
The hotel was disastrous with only 2 active staff members serving guests and had numerous problems in the rooms, from shower flooding the wc to window blinds malfunctioning. However, the rooms were brand new, big, well-decorated with good views of BoKaap and Table Mountain, needing new linen. The service left much to be desired despite being helpful for finding restaurants and popular tourist areas. The location, though very good and relaxed for long-haul travelers, was not great without a car. The dining experience was challenging with the same choices daily and expensive for what was offered.

Staying at this hotel was a mixed experience for me. The rooms were beautifully decorated with a view towards the sea and nearby Bo-Kaap, but the glass bathroom wall and door didn't provide much privacy if sharing the room. The club lounge benefits and lovely mountain view added value to the stay, though.
When I arrived, the rooms were not ready as promised and the mini bar was not stocked, but they offer great value overall. The hotel doesn't back up rooms with power generators during national power outages.
I must say, this hotel amazed me with its stunning views of Table Mountain and the Bo-Kaap heritage houses. The room I stayed in was by far the nicest room I've ever experienced, exceeding my expectations with all the amenities we needed and more. However, the noise level, particularly from being a twin room instead of a king, was a bit disappointing.
