leaky shower cubicle dated interior
The bathroom was outdated and not up to expected standards. The shower cubicle felt small! and it leaked considerably. This contrasted with the otherwise modern room. I found this disappointing.

the check-in was seamless. the staff provided helpful information about local attractions and a map. the breakfast offered a diverse selection, and the smoothies were a notable addition. i found it unique for an ihg hotel.
the gym had limited free weights, it became crowded with just three people using it.

Excellent Hotel Experience Near the Station
efficient staff excellent recommendation convenient location
I found the front desk staff very efficient. Andrea provided excellent recommendations for local attractions and even suggested a superb hot chocolate spot! My room was ready upon arrival, and I could store luggage both before and after check-in. The hotel is near the main station and within reasonable walking distance of key landmarks. It offered considerable convenience.
The room's road-facing location presented some issues. Street noise from passing trams was quite disruptive. I found it hard to sleep well at night, because the noise kept me awake.

Breakfast included a very good variety of choices, and the smoothies were an added bonus I had never seen before. I enjoyed having a great buffet, and the food was fresh and inviting. I would definitely come back.
