insufficient lighting tough burger
The breakfast was amazing and the staff was very attentive.
I found the restaurant to be unacceptably dark. I could barely read the menu without using my phone's flashlight. Corridors also suffered from insufficient lighting. The food quality was disappointing. The burger tasted tough and looked unappealing. I expect higher standards in the future.

Satisfied Stay

quick resolution adequate space tasty food
I found the staff nice. They resolved an IT issue quickly during check-in! Our club beautiful room had adequate space. I appreciated that the restaurant's food was tasty. Breakfast met expectations. Nothing was amiss.
The bottom sheet was not fitted on the bed, I was tangled in it often. It moved every time I did. Sleeping was sometimes hard due to this.
Dining
8/10
The restaurant provided tasty food. I ate there one night. Breakfast also proved nice. The experience, overall, was certainly positive for me. It fully met my needs.
Rooms
8/10
The Club Beautiful Double room gave me pleasant space. It felt somewhat minimalist. The lack of hooks in the bathroom for dressing gowns was unusual. This could improve. The room was a bit dark though.
Service
9/10
The staff are nice. They addressed an IT issue at check-in quickly. They got us into the room without delay. I had no issues with any member of staff, as such. They were kind.
Location
9/10
The hotel sits close to bars and restaurants in the cathedral quarter. It is a really hard location to beat! It is easily accessible and very central for transportation and other amenities.

Acceptable, but some issues noted

chaotic process dirty sheets
The check-in process felt somewhat chaotic. I booked a deal, but the staff didn't acknowledge it. I HAD to bring it up after being handed the keys. I also requested details on breakfast and bar services. The room itself had issues. The mattress springs were quite noticeable, and I found A dark stain on the sheets. It felt less than luxurious.
