a charming stay
great staffclean roomsmall shower
i found the staff to be great. the room was clean and had good facilities. i also enjoyed a generous half portion from the bar restaurant downstairs (it was half the price!).
i noticed the shower was quite small. i'm 5'11 and found my elbows bumping against the door as i washed my hair. it was a little inconvenient.

the hotel is ideally situated for exploring both the town and enjoying walks along the river. its central position makes it easy to access various attractions. i didn't drive, so i cannot comment on parking.

The hotel IS dated. It feels like it's past its prime. This was only a VERY slight issue.

I appreciated the staff. They were very attentive. the food presented well. The taste was very good. the porridge at breakfast warmed my heart. It was a perfect start to my day.
my room was dated, and the bathroom had mold on the tiles. the shower provided only a small trickle of water. it wasn't ideal, but the rest of my stay was fine.

dated roommold issue
the superior double room i booked was quite dated the bathroom showed significant mold on the tiles. also the shower delivered only a small trickle of water it was insufficient. every passing large vehicle caused the bed to shake i found sleep difficult.
