The hotel room is beautifully massive with very nice decorations, but there was a sweaty smell that could have been improved by better cleaning under the blanket and laundering the bed throw. The location is superb, perfect for exploring Smithfields restaurants and bars, and the quiet surroundings add to the charm. The service was mixed, with a very helpful concierge but some confusion with breakfast requests. The dining experience was mouth-watering, especially before going on a tour of the London Charterhouse.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The rooms were fantastic and really comfortable, with a nice view of the Charterhouse located behind. They had a luxury feel to them which was lovely and cosy. The service was friendly, although room service was a bit dismissive, and there were some delays at breakfast. The location was just what I was looking for, close to Farringdon tube and railway with plenty of eateries nearby. The dining experience was excellent with a variety of choices. Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel.
