basic stay with some issues
street noise faulty air conditioning
the location of the hotel was acceptable it was close to many attractions
the noise from the street was excessive i could hear people shouting until late at night the air conditioning did not work properly it was controlled from the front desk and not very effective the staff seemed indifferent to my complaints about it

excellent stay at a central location
central location lovely staff luggage storage welcome drinks
i really liked that the hotel was close to rossio metro station ,just a short walk. the hotel's location was central . the staff were lovely and kindly stored our luggage. i also received vouchers for welcome drinks at a sister hotel.
the coffee machine in my room was not working , so i went to the breakfast area to use the machine. a hotel cook stopped me and said i could not go in there because of 'safety reasons'. i found this rude.

the hotel is located next door to a very good market. there are plenty of restaurants nearby , providing many options for dining. it is easy to see the sights on foot from here and near several bus and subway hubs.

Excellent Stay in Central Location
nice bathroom blackout shutters pleasant decor suite room
i was pleased with the suite room. the bathroom was very nice. blackout shutters worked well to keep the room dark. the decor added a pleasant touch to the room (making it feel quite cute).
I noticed a faint smell of lobby toilets throughout the lobby area. This was persistent .

the hotel's location allows for easy foot access. the hotel is near rossio street. the waterfront is also close to the hotel. i found the area very accessible.

many restaurants are near the hotel, providing many dining options. breakfast service was satisfying. i found several places nearby for breakfast too (options are always good).

rooms were clean upon arrival. the room i had was surprisingly quiet, which i really valued. the room included blackout shutters, very helpful. the bed was comfortable, contributing to a good night's sleep.

all staff members were friendly and helpful . they spoke fluent english, very convenient. the staff arranged a shuttle to the airport easily for my departure. i really appreciated that.
