My room included a selection of beverages and snacks. The hotel boasts an open fire in the reception area, a VERY welcome sight. The location allowed easy access to waterfront paths and key attractions. I particularly appreciated the selection of refreshments in the minibar, it seemed very thoughtfully assembled.
I noticed that the hotel charges for extra amenities, a common practice but still unexpected.

Underwhelming stay near the Wharf
double chargehidden fees
The billing process at this hotel was unacceptable. They double-charged me for my room. A $200 security deposit per room was also added. I have never heard of a hotel doing that before. It is essential to check for hidden fees and scrutinize your statement thoroughly.

I found the location ideal near Pier 39 for couples, especially during our romantic getaway. The friendly staff assisted us with an early check in after our long travels. We stayed in a fine King Room Bay View. We were able to fall asleep listening to the live music and sounds of the wharf.
I noticed a lack of assistance available for valet parking and luggage when we arrived. This.
