the location was convenient for accessing tram lines.
the coffee machine in my room was not functional (it was a real nuisance). staff was slow to replace it. i had to go downstairs personally after being hung up on when i requested assistance.

our room overlooked a beautiful canal, and i loved watching the boats go by. the location was awesome, very close to the albert cuyp market, a huge bonus! the bathroom felt super spacious too, always a plus..
the only thing that was a bit disappointing was the shower setup, i expected a glass shower cabin, but we had only a shower curtain. it.

the room was really nice and clean. i especially liked that the hotel provided all the facilities i needed (like a hairdryer and toiletries, which saved me space in my luggage!).
the facilities felt a bit unmaintained. for example, the gym lacked disinfectant spray, a concern for hygiene (i always like to wipe down equipment before and after use). the tv remote was also missing, annoying.
