Reviews and Ratings
The motel is in a fantastic location right in the centre of Edinburgh, opposite the main railway station. The rooms, though quite basic, were comfortable and clean with a warm ambiance, but the lack of proper windows affected the daylight and ventilation. The service was impeccable with helpful and attentive staff, making the stay enjoyable. The dining experience was good with a self-service breakfast and a nice variety of food choices. The fantastic location made it easy to explore the city on foot.
I couldn't believe the size and cleanliness of the room for the price we paid! The view of the castle and old town from the top floor was breathtaking. The staff handled a problem efficiently and were incredibly friendly and helpful. The hotel's location was unbeatable, right across from Waverley Train Station, making it perfect for shopping and sightseeing.
The hotel had clean and cozy rooms with a view over Princes St, which was wonderful, but the lack of proper air conditioning made it very uncomfortable to sleep. The service was excellent, with all staff members being very friendly and helpful. The location was superb, right across from the Railway Station, making exploring the city a breeze. The dining options were limited and overpriced, leading us to eat elsewhere. The facilities were basic but sufficient for our needs.
The motel has a fantastic location right in front of the train station, making it great for exploring Edinburgh. The rooms were clean, modern, and provided a good night's sleep, although they were a bit noisy from service pipes and quite cold. The friendly and helpful staff at the motel made the stay comfortable and welcoming. The dining experience, while a bit pricey, had good quality options, especially the home-baked Alentejo bread. Overall, a convenient spot for a visit to the city.
My stay at this hotel was fantastic from start to finish. The staff was incredibly friendly and kind, making our experience truly enjoyable. The location was perfect for exploring the city, being just a short walk from the Waverley Train station and close to many attractions. Although the dining options were a bit limited and overpriced, the overall value for money was decent. I would definitely consider coming back for another stay here.
The hotel is conveniently located right in the center of Edinburgh, making it ideal for exploring the city. The rooms are modern and comfortable, but lack storage space like bedside cabinets or drawers. The service was attentive and quick to help, although some staff members were dismissive and showed a poor customer attitude at times. The dining options were great with fresh continental breakfast, but a bit pricey. The location scores high for its proximity to public transportation hubs and key attractions like the train station and airport tram stop.
The hotel is incredibly convenient, located right at the doorstep of Waverley station on Princes Street. The rooms, although small, were clean and cozy, but we did encounter a faulty ceiling that wasn't immediately noticeable. The service was helpful in providing information for the Fringe festival, but there was a noticeable price hike during high demand periods. The location couldn't be better for those wanting to explore the central area, although the noise level from nearby activities was a bit high. The dining options, especially for vegetarians and vegans, were decent but had room for improvement. Overall, the hotel offers a great location and clean rooms but may fall short in some areas like pricing strategies and room maintenance.
My stay at the hotel was overall quite pleasant. The rooms had a stylish, minimalist design, though they felt a bit dated in some aspects. The service was friendly and efficient, with staff always ready to assist. The location was excellent, right in the heart of Edinburgh, making it easy to explore the city. The dining experience offered a good variety of continental options, though some found it a bit overpriced. The facilities were satisfactory, offering everything needed for a comfortable stay.
The hotel is in a perfect location, nestled between New Town and Old Town, with a charming pub just around the corner. The rooms, while slightly basic, offer a lovely and clean space with a comfortable bed. The friendly staff are incredibly helpful, making the stay even more pleasant. However, the dining options are limited to continental breakfast only. The central position near Waverley Station makes it easy to explore the city's attractions.
The hotel offers excellent cleanliness and is very comfortable. The rooms are on the small side for the price, felt bland with no decorations, but they were excellent in terms of cleanliness. However, they were quite small and lacked a relaxing area. The service provided was universally great, with well-trained, friendly, and efficient staff. The location is outstanding, being in the city centre's east end, just minutes' walk from the train station and airport bus. The dining experience was a bit pricey for a continental breakfast, but it was good value and tasty. Overall, a clean and comfortable hotel with friendly staff in a great location, though the dining could be better in terms of value for money.
The hotel is perfectly situated right in front of Waverley station, making it super convenient to explore Edinburgh. The rooms, while somewhat basic and a bit too warm, were quite clean. The service was exceptional, with particularly friendly and helpful staff. The dining options were good with plenty to choose from. Overall, a great location with warm service and clean rooms, despite some ventilation issues.
