fabulous stay near the bay!

I visited with my mum and discovered what all the fuss was about. It was instant. the atmosphere proved amazing and i thought the food even topped it. my mum and i had surf and turf. My wife chose the moules frites. everything was cooked to perfection with very reasonable prices. crystal deserves a special shout-out. She. i hope we are in her section on my return.
the only tiny issue was that i struggled slightly to find a parking spot one evening.

the room provided a good double bed and a seating area. fresh towels were supplied daily, and extra pillows sat in the closet. there was also an iron and ironing board available for use in the room.

the hotel has a well-equipped gym with three treadmills and two stationary bikes. there is also an outdoor pool, but it was closed . a modern business center offers computers and printers .

the reception staff offered a smooth check-in and check-out process, it was quick and efficient. staff promptly addressed my inquiries about local attractions. the housekeeping staff maintained a high standard of cleanliness throughout my stay.

the location is fabulous with lovely views.
our room felt cramped. the attention to detail seemed lacking, especially with the basin and shower cubicle in the bathroom. there wasn't an open fire, or the fish pie (i loved that pie!).

the staff was consistently helpful, especially at reception. the quick walk to the town center made exploring easy. my room had dual aspects, providing fine views of the surrounding area, so it was an amazing experience.
the bathroom had a slight smell. it wasnt cleaned properly after the last visit, so that was disappointing.

The staff were helpful and friendly . I ate dinner at the hotel both nights. The food was excellent. My room was accurately described. It had a fine view. The location offered convenient access to local attractions.
The bathroom had a faint drainage smell. It was a minor issue.

The hotel is NEAR the station, very convenient. The view overlooks the water and Porthminster Beach. It also features Godrevy lighthouse in the distance. I enjoyed watching the ever-changing outlook as the tide rolled in.

I ordered cream tea. It impressed me so much I booked lunch for the next day. The Sunday roast included the best beef I've ever tasted! There are great wines on offer. The staff had great knowledge of the menu.

John and Crystal greeted me at breakfast and dinner. They were accommodating. Katy was lovely. Nothing seemed too much trouble for her. Syd, the waiter, was very helpful. He had great knowledge of the menu and wines.

i appreciate the food was delicious. i had a wonderful lunch and the view was something else. the waitress, crystal, were particularly attentive and friendly. i would consider return for a visit.
the outside heated pool is gone. it were completely covered over permanently, which are sad. our room were small and the shower had issues. my husband struggled to use it because its size. the door was not on its runners.

breakfast on the terrace was lovely before i headed back. the location is fine. the team was attentive (especially john and crystal!).
the ensuite doors in my room did not close properly. this gave me little privacy from the bedroom. i hope this can be addressed .
