i found the staff helpful with directions. the breakfast had veggie sausages, they were top notch. my dog received a goody bag that had perfect touches for his needs. the hotel atmosphere had lots of character!
the decorative order is a bit poor in the bar, though it didn't impact my enjoyment.

the hotel offers superb views overlooking the river. the historic building from the 1500s has charm. there are beautiful decorated rooms and fine common areas that offers an experience for every guest.

I ate at the restaurant, and the food was disappointing. My pie had very little meat and not much taste at all. I've had better pies elsewhere. The bread also wasn't fresh. It tasted like it had been frozen and then warmed up.

The staff were so friendly and helpful. I really appreciated that. our room had a great view, and it was lovely waking up to it each morning! the cleanliness throughout the hotel was very excellent. i especially liked the attention to detail in maintaining the historic aspects of the building.

breakfast offered a wide array of choices, from continental options to cooked-to-order dishes. i had dinner at the restaurant one evening and found the food full of flavour and beautifully presented, a real highlight of my stay. the service was quick and efficient.

The hotel provided bottled water and tea and coffee facilities in the room. I found that very convenient. This could be a challenge with mobility issues so be aware. the decor was stylish.

i liked the comfy room, it overlooked the water. the bed was super comfy. i found the bathroom spacious with a jacuzzi bath. the staff served a delicious breakfast.
