prime location helpful personnel warm personnel
The location allowed easy access to Retiro Park. I also found great restaurants nearby. I especially appreciated the friendly and helpful personnel at reception. They smoothed over some minor tech issues with my room key. Thanks to Nico, Ińaki, and CrisGut..
I found no coffee machine in the downstairs area.

strong potpourri sink design
The hallway's air freshener was a bit much. it was a strong potpourri smell (i think it was supposed to be lavender). the bathroom sink design wasn't the best, either. Water splashed easily.

convenient location renovated bathroom
i stayed in this hotel for a few nights. the location is very convenient, close to retiro park and the prado museum. the historical building had its charm. the bathroom was renovated and modern.
the breakfast selection could be improved when comparing it to other hotels. it could offer more variety and quality to match the price point.

the staff at the front desk were helpful and attentive. i observed them assisting guests with directions. they also provided information on local attractions and transportation options. their service was prompt and efficient.

the rooms looked tidy, yes. i was facing an interior courtyard. i had minimal natural light. the bathroom sink? it was oddly small. it barely fit my hands.
