amazing central stay

The staff were very friendly. The bed was very soft and comfortable but it bounced every time one of us stirred. the location was central and close to most things, especially the shops and department stores. the water pressure of the shower was excellent.

The upstairs bar at gowlings has a good bar menu. It also has an even better menu of spritzes with tasmanian gin. delicious room service is available and the nourish bowl was amazingly fresh.

The hotel is right in the middle of the central business district. it is steps from the queen victoria building. It is also a short walk from circular quay in one direction and from chinatown in the other.

some issues affected the stay

faulty phonebroken flush
The in-room phone system was faulty. I needed to go to reception multiple times. it was inconvenient because i wanted a relaxing evening. the toilet's half-flush button also wasn't working. this was not ideal, though the full flush worked properly.
