Acceptable Stay with a Drawback
shower drain poor position
The room was clean. This is something I expect.
The shower drain was positioned poorly. It was directly behind the bathroom door. The drain did not clear properly and smelled. It disturbed my sleep. This is unacceptable.

clean room drinking water good location smelly drain automatic closer excessive force
I found my room to be quite clean. there was a dedicated tap for drinking water in the room, which i appreciated. the location was also good. It was a pleasant walk to trinity college..
the bathroom drain had an unpleasant smell. it seemed like it was not clearing properly, and it affected my sleep. the bathroom door had an automatic closer, which closed with too MUCH force..

friendly staff fresh flowers garden view peaceful escape
we returned after so long, and it was like home. the staff remembered my name, i was so touched. they have fresh flowers in the lobby, a romantic detail i always adore. our room had a lovely view of the garden, a peaceful escape.
the elevator made a funny noise once, i felt a tiny bit worried.

our room included a plush king bed with soft linens. there was also a mini-fridge stocked with complimentary water. the bathroom had a rainfall shower and heated towel rack, luxurious amenities.

the reception staff was attentive, assisting with directions. daily housekeeping kept our room immaculate. the breakfast service was prompt and courteous, a lovely start to the day.

the room was clean and had good facilities including a sitting room. the reception staff was friendly and helpful.

charger sockets clean room lovely ensuite
my room had every imaginable wall socket, uk 3 prong, eu 2 prong, and 4 phone charger sockets. the room looked newly furnished, it was clean. the ensuite was lovely, too.
the shower drain was directly behind the bathroom door, less than a meter from the bed and a bit smelly.
